Dave Brubeck

So a few weeks ago I read about the passing of this musician named David Brubeck, supposed to be one of the greatest jazz artists of all time. I decided to check him out and I ended up falling in love with jazz music altogether. It’s especially pleasant to listen to when I’m studying. I think what really appeals to me about jazz is the fact that I don’t know the tunes. It’s serves well as background music, which lets me listen to it while I study without letting me be distracted by singing or humming along.

Anyway, this is one of Mr. Brubeck’s albums that I listened to–“Time Out”. My favorite songs on this album are “Blue Rondo àLa Turk” (00:00), “Take Five” (14:11), and “Everybody’s Jumpin'” (29:56). Be sure to listen to it and let me know what you think!
